I had the idle idea of creating a little bot that grabs films released on this day from the themoviedb.org API, and posting them to Bluesky. So I did that.
For those asking on Bluesky, it:
1. Gets all films released today in a given year, with minimum 20 votes and a vote average of 5 (10/5 if the year is before 1940).
2. Orders by vote average and posts the top film.
Come to think of it, I did it on Mastodon first, but the bot-friendly instance that hosted it went the way of the Dodo.
